We are women, we are promoted because we are women?

Should women be promoted because they are women?

As a young woman, I simply don’t support the idea we should be promoted because we are women. “We want to be considered for our performance, capacity and our potential, not to be promoted because we are women”.
(This picture is from from google)
When women are hired, why there’s kind of negative question “being hired or promoted? Why assume that we are promoted?  Why don’t you think that we may have the right potential for those jobs? When men are hired, why don’t you think that it happens because they are men.

When I have to queue to buy something or to get something, I confess I am tired of hearing about “lady first” or “we have to increase gender equality.” I want to be equal (I am not talking about a pregnant women). If, I come first, I get it first. It is not the question of I am woman and you are man.

For a job recruitment, in case there is two candidates, a man and a woman, if the man is more qualified than the woman, he should be selected. It is logic. If the woman who has less potential is recruited, it is unfair, it is not equal. I am a female; I want to see women succeed but the success must be deserved. We would say “may the best person win, not may the best woman win”. The company no need to have quota, just hire the best candidate. If that person is a woman, it is much better!! It is time to cheer!

Dear all women, we have to be determined, and we need to be creative in how we get things done. We need to improve and strengthen our potential! Don’t wait to be promoted base on gender matter! Be the best person!
